From instruction-set decisions to metrology front-ends, every layer of a Nelix chip is designed in-house. These are the disciplines we hire for, whether or not a matching opening is listed below.

Chip Architects

Define instruction sets, memory hierarchies, and power budgets for SoCs that must run on unstable grid power. You own architecture decisions from specification through silicon correlation.

RTL Engineers

Write and refine the synthesizable SystemVerilog behind SecureGrid and InferEdge — lockstep cores, crypto engines, and low-power interconnect built to a security-first coding standard.

Verification Engineers

Build UVM environments, formal proofs, and coverage closure for security-critical blocks, where a missed corner case becomes a field vulnerability instead of an errata note.

FPGA Engineers

Bring architectures to life on FPGA prototypes — the proving ground for every Nelix design before tape-out — and run them against real metering and inference workloads.

Embedded Systems Engineers

Write the firmware closest to the silicon: bare-metal bring-up, secure boot flows, drivers, and the signed OTA update pipeline that keeps fleets trustworthy for a decade.

AI Hardware Engineers

Design and tune the systolic arrays, compute-in-memory paths, and quantized inference pipelines that let InferEdge run offline-first workloads inside a sub-15 W envelope.

Security Engineers

Attack our own designs before adversaries do: side-channel analysis, fault injection, tamper response, and the PUF and post-quantum machinery inside TrustCore.

Analog/Mixed-Signal Engineers

Design the metrology front-ends, power management, and sensor interfaces that keep measurements accurate through heat, electrical noise, and brownout conditions.
